5/15/'99 from www.murmurs.com: "Eels leader E has written several songs with R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck that are slated for the next Eels album, according to Eels manager Elliot Roberts. The album is not yet scheduled for release, but it's expected to be completed by the end of the year." I also heard about problems the eels have with their record company (Dreamworks).
